Keeping your credit card and debit card safe with FMBank is as easy as sending a text.

With our new Enfact fraud text alerts, you can now receive text fraud alerts to your mobile device. If our card fraud alert system detects suspicious activity on your credit card or debit card, you will receive a text message with details about the suspected transaction. All you have to do is respond to the text with a “YES” or “NO” to confirm or deny the transaction.

WHEN WE TEXT YOU...

If our card fraud alert system detects suspicious activity on your card, you'll receive a text message* with details about the suspected transaction. All you have to do is respond to the text to confirm the transaction. If you indicate the transaction is fraud, you'll receive another message with a number to call for follow-up. If not, you're all set. The system will mark the transaction as legitimate and you can get on with your day - simple as that.

Here's an example of how it works:

Free MSG: The FMBank Fraud Center $201.45 on card 1234 at Shopsmart. If valid reply YES, fraud NO. To Opt Out, STOP.

If you respond “YES”
Free MSG: The FMBank Fraud Center Thank you for confirming this activity. You may continue to use your card. To Opt Out reply STOP.

If you respond “NO”
Free MSG: The FMBank Fraud Center Your response has placed a block on the card. Call us immediately at 833-719-0357, avail 24/7. To Opt Out reply STOP.

If you respond “STOP”
Free MSG: The FMBank Fraud Center Per your request you will no longer receive Fraud text alerts. To reactivate Fraud Text Alerts, reply UNDO

WHEN WE CALL YOU...

If fraudulent card use is suspected on your account and we can't reach you by text message, you will be called to validate the legitimacy of your transactions. Your participation in responding to our call is critical to prevent potential risk and avoid restrictions we may place on the use of your card.

Our automated call center will ask you to verify recent transaction activity on your card:

  • You'll be asked to verify your identity and provide your 5 digit ZIP code
  • You'll be able to respond via your touch-tone keypad
  • You'll also be provided a toll-free number to call should you have additional questions

It is the policy of FMBank to NEVER solicit customer information, numbers or passwords via e-mail. If you are approached with such an offer, DO NOT REPLY to the e-mail and instead contact FMBank immediately.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I enroll for this service?

No enrollment will be necessary. If we have your mobile phone number on file, you don't have to do anything. It's really that easy. If you need to confirm or update your mobile phone number, email address or home phone number give us a call at 662-365-1208.

Why would I receive a text alert?

When our card fraud alert system suspects a transaction may be fraudulent, it will immediately send a text requesting verification that a transaction is valid. If you need to update your mobile phone number give us a call at 662-365-1208.

What if the suspected transaction is valid?

Simply respond YES and send the reply. Please keep in mind that it could take 5-10 minutes for a block to be removed in some situations.

What if the suspected transaction is fraudulent?

Simply respond NO and send the reply. The card will be immediately blocked and no other transactions will be completed until you contact us.

What if I do not respond to the text message?

If you do not respond by text, the system will then attempt to contact by phone or email.
